Welcome to our blog! To get started, let us tell you a little bit about ourselves. We are cousins, Emily (the shorter one that's more organized) and Haley (a tad bit taller and not as focused!). We have grown up next door to each other for over 15 years and have always been best friends. From pretending we were tour guides on our 4-wheeler to gymnastic teachers on our trampoline (neither on of use have any gymnastic abilities) we have always been together like sisters. Now, that we are at different colleges, we find ourselves coming home on weekends and spending time together doing none other than...CRAFTING!! And if we aren't crafting, we are talking about it! We have had several exciting junk shopping trips whether it has been trying to find a junk store "20 minutes" past the Norfork Lake Bridge or buying so much stuff that I (Emily ) have had to ride sitting under a huge shutter. We have so many memories of crafting things at our river house (thanks Kim!) and junk shopping trips that I am sure we will blog about. This has all led to "The Cousinry" and we can't wait to share what we do!
We would LOVE to take that old piece of furniture in your basement and turn it into something great for you! Or maybe turn that yard sale treasure into something that will match perfect in your home. From frames to jewelry to furniture to burlaps to dish towels to hair bows...we will try just about anything for you!
We started this blog to showcase are latest "treasures" that we've found and redone or that we have made from scratch. Hopefully you will take a look at what we've done and come back soon!
